The part after the fun

Easy access makes cleaning less of a chore.

Finding yesterday’s residue in a toy can turn a happy purchase into a nuisance. Before choosing another design, look at how you would inspect the inside and clean it. A complicated shape is not automatically a better everyday choice.

Washable needs an instruction

Different materials need different treatment.

Washable means the product can be cleaned by a specified method, not that every toy can go into a dishwasher. KONG discusses cleaning different toy types. Use the instructions for the exact item, including drying, rather than applying one method to everything in the basket.

Size is an individual choice

Follow the maker’s size and supervision guidance.

Check the intended animal, size guidance and use instructions. Inspect the toy for damage and stop using it if its condition becomes unsuitable. We have not tested chewing resistance or suitability for your pet. Ask your vet if you are unsure about an individual need.

Keep a small set that is easy to inspect

More toys should not make care harder.

Think about where clean toys will dry and how you will separate them from used ones. A manageable rotation may be more useful than a large collection you cannot keep track of. The purchase should support a routine you can maintain alongside the fun.
